1 February 1LT Paul A. Garwood assigned as 1st Platoon Leader, and 1SG Charles Cameron as First Sergeant. |
18 February The following new personnel, all with MOS 95B Military Police, from CONUS (US), were assigned from the 90th Replacement Battalion via 720th MP Battalion, HQ Detachment to A Company, PVT's Gary J. Dingass(spell?), Paul D. Wilson, David P. Russell, Thomas F. Anderson, John J. O’Neil, James R. Cronin, Jr., Dana J. Kimball, and Francis Killigrew. |
24 March A Letter of Appreciation for providing outstanding service for convoy escort operations was received from the Headquarters, 6th Transportation Battalion (Truck), 48th Transportation Group. Mentioned were, SSG Hardy, SGT Barbour, SP/4 Baer, SP/4 Armstrong, and SP/4 San Nicholas. |
10 April CPT Paul B Hughes assumed command of A Company. |
Major Realignment of A & C Company Duties |
18 May The 720th MP Battalion realigned the combat support and combat service support missions within Military Region III (III Corps Tactical Zone) which were previously accomplished by A and C Company.
Both companies had similar missions of staffing provost marshal offices and convoy escort duties within the region. The realignment resulted in A Company assuming responsibility for all region provost marshal duties and C Company assuming responsibility for all convoy escort duties. Along with the realignment the A Company Commanding Officer (CPT Paul B. Hughes) was designated as Provost Marshal for III Corps Tactical Zone, limited. |

16 August 1LT Bernal R. Anderson was assigned as A Company Executive Officer (XO). |
19 August 1LT William A. D’Andrea is assigned as Provost Marshal at Bearcat. |
5 October CPT Alex T. Deluca is assigned as Commanding Officer. |
