During the Vietnam war the 212th served with distinction as part of the 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade from 14 February 1968 to 13 August 1972 during which time it shared the honor of earning a Meritorious Unit Citation. The 720th MP Battalion Viet Nam History Project is proud to host this website extension for the veterans of the 212th Military Police Company (Sentry Dog).
